Mary Sue Hays, 65, passed away peacefully on August 18th at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. She was born March 18th, 1953, in Franklin Furnace Ohio to Carl and Helen Hacker. She married her high school sweetheart Jack Hays in October of 1971. She is a graduate of Shawnee State University and worked as an Registered Nurse for more than 30 years. She most enjoyed the years spent as a labor and delivery nurse and loved to care for new babies in the nursery. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was never happier than when she was at home surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband Jack Hays, her five children Patrick Hays, Jack Hays, Nathan Hays, Erin McKeown, Sarah Hays and her eight grandchildren Kirsten, Brendan, Paige, Jonathon, Addison, Ava, Isabella and Austin. A celebration of life will be held and the Cypress Community Center in Cypress, FL on Saturday August 25th from 3:00pm – 5:00pm cst.
