John Henry Jarmon age 91 of Marianna passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2018. He was born in Cottondale on April 15, 1927 to the late L.J. and Annie Baker Jarmon. John spent most of his life in Jackson County and was of the Protestant faith. He enjoyed hunting, roping, and riding horses.
John was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mryle Jarmon; son, John Jarmon; 3 brothers, Buford “Butch” Jarmon, Rudolph Jarmon, and James L. Jarmon; 3 sister, Ethel Smith, Ann Lois Richards, and Estelle Godfrey. He is survived by his grandson, Brandon Lee Jarmon, 2 great-grandchildren, and a numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 22, 2018 in the Riverside Cemetery with Blair Myers officiating.
