Ruby Mae Mayo age 93 of Marianna left this world for her Heavenly Home on Friday, February 1, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was a native of Jackson County born on March 5, 1925 to the late John William and Claudia Bell Porter.
Ruby Mae was known as a Prayer Warrior who loved God and was a member of Pilgrim Rest Assembly of God Church. She loved to sing, fish, and garden.
Ruby Mae was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Rubin M. Mayo.
She is survived by her children, Charlette E. Daniels and husband Phillip of Marianna, and Preston Autry Melvin of Altha; 6 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Ruby Mae will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 4, 2019 in the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Ellis Vickery officiating. Interment will follow in the Vickery Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
